Dr. Salant left me brain damaged after a routine surgery in 1990. The surgery was a 90-minute procedure that ended up being an hour and a half because he was on the phone while I was already sedated. Unfortunately I woke up during surgery and he instructed the anesthesiologist to put me out again even though the anesthesiologist said it would hurt me.

Dr. Salant is an excellent doctor. Smart, compassionate, funny -- and genuinely caring. I've seen a number of people in the field of Genito-urinary medicine over the years and by far he is completely number one. That's why so many doctors like myself choose him!
